Connexions

careers library

Connexions is an information, advice and support service for 13-19 year olds (and up to 25 for young people who are disabled). Connexions help with choices in learning and work, courses and qualifications, jobs, apprenticeships and training programmes, money matters, leisure and volunteering.

The Connexions library is an important facility as it contains copies of the prospectus for every British university and resources for different career options.

The Connexions officer Amanda King comes into school every Tuesday and runs drop-in sessions at lunch and break times. There is also an appointment system and forms for appointments can be picked up from the Connexions room.

More information about Connexions at www.connexions-bdp.co.uk
Students can also visit the Connexions Centre at 3, Kingland Road, Poole, BH15 1SH. No appointment is necessary.
