Welcome to the Language Department

Languages block
Language foyer
At Parkstone Grammar School we have a languages block with four dedicated classrooms (two of which have computer suites) and in addition a Sony digital language laboratory which is an excellent and stimulating resource for languages.
The foyer features armchairs, computers for sixth-form students and a departmental office. It is a welcoming entrance foyer, being brightly decorated with displays and articles relating to languages. These displays change regularly to reflect projects and work produced by students. The Languages Department believe that this foyer area is a warm and welcoming place for the school community to meet and work. It is the hub of our foreign languages assistants’ work with students and is often used for breakout discussions.
