Parkstone Grammar School is delighted to advise that following the publication of the provisional GCSE progress scores this week Parkstone is in the top 2% of all secondary schools nationally. It shows that Parkstone is the highest performing school in Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset, as well as much of the rest of the country.
The new Progress 8 measure reflects the progress of young people from their starting places across 8 subjects including English and Maths. With a score of 0.55 this means that students at Parkstone achieve at least half a grade better than their peers in other schools nationally with the same starting points.
This is a wonderful reflection of the ethos of commitment, courage and compassion that permeates the school and the hard work of students, staff and parents.
