We are very proud to have received a letter from Rebecca Clark, the DfE’s Regional Schools Commissioner for the South West.
Mrs Clark has written to congratulate the school as one of the region’s highest performing schools, following the publication of provisional 2016 Progress 8 scores. The new Progress 8 measure reflects the progress of young people from their starting places across 8 subjects including English and Mathematics. With a score of 0.55 this means that students at Parkstone achieve at least half a grade better than their peers in other schools nationally with the same starting points.
Mrs Clark wrote “I never underestimate the sheer hard work which sits behind results like these, please pass on my thanks and congratulations to your whole staff team”.
