Parkstone Grammar School
Parkstone is a warm, vibrant and exciting learning community. We are a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 selective girls’ school offering outstanding education to the girls of Poole and its surrounding area.
Girls at Parkstone are not only encouraged to succeed academically, but to enjoy the wide range of musical, theatrical, sporting, speaking and charitable opportunities. Girls thrive in an environment of support and challenge, becoming resilient learners well prepared to succeed in the 21st century.
The unique single-sex selective environment allows the girls to grow in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Parkstone’s national reputation for excellence and continued success is testament to the consistent dedication and commitment of her students, staff, governors and the local community.
Situated close to the Jurassic Coast, Parkstone provides an opportunity to enjoy the quality of life this region affords, working as part of a vibrant team of teachers in what is a happy and quietly ambitious school.
What do people say?
People often say after their first visit to Parkstone Grammar School how distinctive the school is, how warm and friendly our staff and students are and what calm, hard-working and enthusiastic learning takes place. Imagine, then, how transformative that environment is for the children who study and grow into adults here.
Everyone associated with Parkstone understands what it means to be part of this community; they understand their role in our wider community and how to act as a role model and advocate for our wonderful school.
