Our next Open Evening will be held on Thursday 11 July 2024 (6 – 8 pm). No need to book, please just turn up.
We welcome applications from parents who live in the Local Authority area and beyond. Admission is at 11+ into Year 7 and is by entrance test. Entry into other years is by entrance test and dependent upon places being available. Applications for the Sixth Form are dependent upon meeting entrance requirements at GCSE. Our Admissions Policy is reviewed and ratified annually, please ensure you read the policy for your child’s proposed academic year of entry.
The admissions arrangements for Parkstone Grammar School are in accordance with the Coordinated Admissions Scheme adopted by all the school admissions authorities within the local authority: www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/Schools-and-learning/School-admissions/Apply-for-a-school-place/Apply-for-a-secondary-or-upper-school-place.aspx.

Registration for the entrance test in September 2023 (for entry to Year 7 in September 2024) closed at midday on Friday 8 September 2023. There is one set of selection tests for Bournemouth School, Bournemouth School for Girls, Parkstone Grammar School and Poole Grammar School (the ‘Consortium’). For parents who are considering more that one selective school within the Consortium for their child, this will save them from taking multiple tests for these schools.

To enquire about making a late entrance application please call 01202 605605 and ask to speak to our Admissions Team.
