We welcome applications from parents who live in the Local Authority area and beyond. Admission is at 11+ into Year 7 and is by educational assessment. Entry into other years is by educational assessment and dependent upon places being available.
Applications for the Sixth Form are dependent upon satisfactory achievement at GCSE. The admissions policy is reviewed annually and should be consulted for the proposed year of entry.
The admissions arrangements for Parkstone Grammar School are in accordance with the Coordinated Admissions Scheme adopted by all the school admissions authorities within the Borough.
Only girls who attain the required standards in the prescribed arrangements for selection by reference to high ability will be eligible to be considered for admission to the school. These arrangements require that in order to be eligible for consideration for admission to the school, would-be students must pass an entrance test.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Selection Tests, entry September 2021
In response to Government guidance, we have been granted a variation of our admission arrangements for 2021 to change the test date(s) from Saturday 26 September 2020 to Saturday 17 October 2020. This is to enable Year 6 pupils who have been out of school for a considerable time to have a longer period back in school before they take their tests.
The deadline to register for the entrance tests by midday on Friday 11 September 2020 will not change.
