Parkstone Grammar School is committed to supporting all staff to develop their skills and abilities, to enable them to fulfil their roles. Wherever possible we also endeavour to help staff develop their skill set to enable them to take on posts of greater responsibility. This is done through a mixture of internal and external CPD opportunities.
In addition, we provide a very well respected internal CPD programme for teaching staff. This has been viewed favourable by OFSTED and other local schools as it provides teachers with time to explore current research around best practice in the classroom.
As a partner school to the South Central Teaching School Hub we also contribute to training local teachers at a variety of career stages e.g. Initial Teacher Training and the suite of National Professional Qualifications.
